  Payment/Rebates

Your occupational therapist will recommend session frequency and duration according to your child's needs, but will also ensure that financially, the therapy plan works for you too.

Private health insurance can be claimed with most funds, and rebates will depend on your individual provider.

Medicare rebates are available through different care plans provided by your GP. These plans include the Chronic Disease Management Plan, which entitles your child to up to five subsidised sessions, and the Mental Health Care Plan, which subsidises up to ten sessions. Eligibility should be discussed with your occupational therapist and/or GP.

Perth Children's OT is not a registered NDIS provider, therefore only self-managed and plan-managed funds can be used for therapy.
